Physician's Assistant, Certified

I don’t really have any fun nicknames other than Mom. I grew up in Utah! Provo, to be exact, born and raised in the Beehive State.

Since childhood, my passion for taking care of others has been a driving force in my life. Over the years, I have worked tirelessly in various healthcare roles, constantly seeking to learn and grow as a healthcare professional. However, it wasn’t until I found myself on the front lines as a healthcare provider that I truly found my calling.

Working in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Obesity medicine, I can develop long-term relationships with my patients and invest in their health and well-being. The complexity of chronic health issues has always drawn me to this field, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help my patients navigate their unique challenges. For me, there is nothing more fulfilling than making a positive impact on the lives of others.

My Favorite Colors are Coral and Teal.
My Favorite Meal- Pretty much anything with Chicken in it or on it. I just love food! My Favorite Vacation Spot – I am simple, and I love staycations to places close to home like St. George, Eden, and Bear Lake, but New York is my home away from home; I love everything about big cities, even more than the beautiful islands I have been able to visit.
My favorite movies growing up were Clueless and The Green Mile. I don’t think I have one these days, though, mostly because we watch so many kids’ shows (Ask me anything about Cocomelon, Ninja Turtles, or Jurassic World).

I am the daughter of a BYU Football player (so we only talk blue in that home) and Graduated with my Physician Assistant Degree from the University of Utah. My Husband bleeds Red (which means at our house, it’s all red), but truth be told I love them both. I often tell people I bleed PURPLE a mix of both schools and because my Undergraduate came from Weber State.

You probably won’t find me doing much in the cold weather months, but I do love being outside, hiking when we can and soaking up all the Vitamin D.  I am an athlete at heart, so in an ideal world, I would be chasing softballs, shooting baskets, or spiking volleyballs but these days I am just in the stands watching our kids do all the fun things!

As a Patient of DETS, you can count on me to always advocate on your behalf.  I believe in treating the whole patient, taking into account their unique circumstances and needs to develop a personalized care plan.  I don’t do “one size fits all medicine”. I know that big changes come from small steps, and I am always cheering on my patients and their victories, both big and small.  My passion lies in helping my patients achieve their health goals, whether it be through weight loss, managing their diabetes, or improving their endocrine health.

As your Provider, you can be sure that I am committed to staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in my field so that you always get the highest level of care.   See you soon! – Adrienne
